5th WRHC by Tracie Curry

Tracie Curry is a recent graduate of the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, Master of Landscape Architecture program. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business where she studied business and public policy. Her research interests are in social and environmental resilience and the adaptation of human settlements to the impacts of climate change in both urbanized and remote areas. She is currently studying reindeer husbandry and adaptive strategies for nomadic peoples threatened by climate change and industrial development in the Barents Region. Ms. Curry recently attended the 5th World Reindeer Herders’ Congress in Aoluguya/Genhe, China and documented her experience of the event through a series of photographs.
