International seminar on Digitalization of the Linguistic and Cultural Heritage of the Indigenous Peoples of the Arctic during the Northern Sustainable Development Forum is planned on September 28 n Yakutsk and online.
The Arctic Council DLCH Project is focused on preserving and developing Indigenous languages, traditional knowledge and cultures of the Arctic Indigenous peoples including food heritage as a foundation for diversification of local economies and new approaches to adapt to Arctic change. The Project envisages wide use of modern digital technologies, creation of a GIS map and Arctic Indigenous peoples’ knowledge database on a uniform multilingual portal, www.arctic-megapedia.com. The Project will provide access to information, promote better understanding and facilitate adaptation to Arctic changes based on the knowledge and resources of affected communities and peoples. Northern Sustainable Development Forum (the Forum) is a permanent international expert platform for discussing the issues and prospects of sustainable development of the Arctic and the North. The main idea of the Forum is to join the creative forces of the Arctic and Asia in solving the problems of sustainable development of the Northern and Arctic regions.

Мы рады пригласить Вас на Международный семинар по проекту Арктического совета “Цифровизация культурного и языкового наследия коренных народов Арктики”, который пройдет в рамках Северного форума по устойчивому развитию в г. Якутске 28 сентября 2021г., а также в режиме онлайн.
Проект “Цифровизация культурного и языкового наследия коренных народов Арктики” инициирован Российской Федерацией в Арктическом совете. Со-лидерами проекта является Норвегия, а также Ассоциация коренных малочисленных народов Севера, Сибири и Дальнего Востока. Проект направлен на сохранение и развитие языков коренных народов, традиционных знаний и культур коренных народов Арктики, а также предусматривает широкое использование современных цифровых технологий, создание карты ГИС и базы данных знаний коренных народов Арктики на едином многоязычном портале www.arctic-megapedia.com. Сроки реализации проекта – 2021- 2024гг.
