The National Association of Norwegian Reindriftssamers can no longer accept the state's management of wild game.

A unanimous national meeting has adopted the following:

The NRL will no longer legitimize the state's management of wild game. Today's management is designed so that predators have greater protection than reindeer husbandry and other grazing industries. Until we get a carnivore management that reindeer husbandry can accept, the national meeting asks that all reindeer owners in carnivore boards and other committees connected to the state's carnivore management resign from their posts immediately.

The case was unanimously approved at the NRL's national meeting in Guovdageaidnu / Kautokeino on 17.06.23.
