A major goal for GEF UNEP Reindeer herding and resilience project  is to produce new reindeer husbandry maps, related to landfragmentation.  Greg Fiske from Woodwell Climate Centre is one of the worlds best cartographers, works today in East Taiga, Mongolia with project manager Marina Tonkopeeva and Duhka reindeer herder Khongorzul Mungunshagai  making new maps. The RHR team has been riding on horses and reindeer to carry out their work.
