This week GEF UNEP Reindeer Herding and Resilience project at International Centre for Reindeer Husbandry (ICR) under the leadership of Marina Tonkopeeva in cooperation with Arctic Initiative at Belferd Centre at Harvard Kennedy School hosted a Dukha reindeer herders innovation lab a variant of Arctic Innovation Lab. From Harvard Dr Jennifer Spence and Tessa Tvarvares participated in Ulaanbaatar Mongolia. A total of 22 indigenous reindeer herders traveled for days from the Taiga to Ulaanbaatar to meet our team.
