Yesterday, the Chair of the Senior Arctic Officials KENNETH HØEGH and Senior Arctic Official for the Kingdom of Denmark TORSTEN KJØLBY NIELSEN had a meeting with the sat lavuu petra polcicova 14.720x0ICR director and Secretary General of World Reindeer Herders (WRH) ANDERS OSKAL while visiting the NOMAD Indigenous FoodLab in Guovdageaidnu/Kautokeino, Norway.

The Kingdom of Denmark (which includes Denmark, Greenland, and the Faroe Islands) holds the rotating Chairship of the Arctic Council for the 2025–2027 term.

The Arctic Youth Conference, scheduled to take place in Nuuk, Greenland, from 26–28 February 2027, is one of the key upcoming events of the Danish Chairship of the Arctic Council. WRH and ICR are proud to support this initiative and are planning to bring the NOMAD Indigenous FoodLab to Greenland as part of the conference activities.
