International conference on the traditional knowledge of reindeer husbandry in a changing world within the Riedvan project will be held in Kautokeino, Norway 30 November – 1 December 2022. The Rievdan project conference is organized by Sámi University of Applied Sciences, International Centre for Reindeer Husbandry and Research Council of Norway.

The conference sums up the RIEVDAN project about traditional knowledge of reindeer husbandry in a changing world. The conference is open to all, but a key target audience are reindeer herders. The aim is to engage the participants through an interactive and varied program. The conference provides a series of short scientific presentations followed by feedback from and discussions with the audience, as well as traditional food and cultural events.
